We offer four different types of team development activity:

• Team building
• Team development training for leaders
• Team strategy creation
• Team event facilitation

Team Building

By this we mean a programme of outdoor or indoor activities that are designed to challenge the team by presenting them with problems requiring them to act as a team. Activities are timed and the team given a briefing that sets them off to solve the task. By observing these activities we can record the positive and negative behaviours in the team and feed them back. After the feedback has been received the team are invited to create a team action plan which will put into place the behavioural or cultural change that will ensure future performance. The activities are great fun and so reinforce the learning from the feedback received.

Team development training for leaders

Usually a two day event, this course can be tailored towards the specific requirements of your organisation. The course is indoor based but consists of various practical exercises mixed with facilitated discussion, ideas imputed from the consultant, as well as individual reflection. Followed up with a rigorous action plan that implements a work-based project for each leader to use to develop their teams, this course receives consistently good feedback.

Team strategy creation

For senior management teams, project teams or strategy teams, this two day event is designed to facilitate the team in creating answers to problems together. The event has two benefits: it gives the team a methodology for creating its own solutions or strategy for future use; and during the two days the team works on a solution or strategy for a real issue they are facing. The facilitator guides the team through a process that enables the team to create the answers whilst developing the team through its behaviours and competencies, so that the process can be used independently at any point in the future.
